Mobile Security Client

The SonicWALL Mobile Security Client combines a custom iOS app downloaded through Apple’s App Store and SonicWALL’s encrypted SSL VPN infrastructure to securely connect iPad, iPhone and iPod touch users safely to work or school networks. Full network access outside the network perimeter allows iOS device users to connect to shared folders, proprietary software, intranet sites, email and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) solutions.

When coupled with a SonicWALL Next Generation Firewall, the Mobile Security Client creates a Clean VPN and can also utilize application intelligence to follow application and bandwidth guidelines at the firewall level. The Mobile Security Client can also be used over WiFi inside the network to deliver secure, simple and cost-effective distributed wireless networking, and it works in combination with a SonicWALL firewall for deep packet inspection, application control and content filtering.
