October is National Cybersecurity Awareness Month (NCSAM). In 2004, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and National Cyber Security Alliance (NCSA) launched NCSAM in an effort to help all Americans stay safer and keep their data more secure online.
Throughout the month of October, ITS will be spreading awareness of Cybersecurity on social media and encouraging engagement from followers in order to reach as many people as possible. Cybersecurity is a collective effort of governments, companies, groups, and/or individuals, and we all play a role in improving our security defense.
