ITS is looking for summer interns!
These paid internship opportunities will give you a chance to learn about the technology service industry and develop some useful technology skills.
Task/responsibilities may include:
- Deploying images to computer labs/carts
- Wiping computer data and resetting for new users
- Enrolling Chromebooks for management
- Running and terminating data wiring
- Mounting networked components with hand tools and power tools

Internship Program
ITS provides managed helpdesk services to K-12 Schools and Businesses throughout Iowa. Summer is our busiest time of year as schools prepare to remove old machines from inventory, add new software, purchase new machines, replace network equipment and more!
Summer Interns have played an important role on Team ITS since 2011; some of our summer interns have returned for repeat years on our team, and two have returned for full-time employment after college graduation!
Summer Interns do not necessarily need to be interested in the IT field – training and documentation is provided for all intern tasks. While this is a great way to learn more about the IT Services industry and narrow a college and career focus, there is no requirement that students be headed into an IT program of study.
