Always On – Always Up

Our customers trust us with their data and equipment.  We take that responsibility seriously. Our Iowa data center provides the most secure facility possible utilizing today’s leading edge technology. We investigate and plan against possible threats that endanger our continuity as well as eliminate all single points of failure.

• Cooling – our APC Infrastruxure in-row cooling units feature redundant compressors. These units normally run at a low speed/high efficiency mode and ramp up automatically to cover a non-functioning unit.
• Connectivity – at ITS we maintain dual fiber connections through separate carriers. These load balanced fiber connections enter our facility at opposite ends, limiting the odds of an event affecting both.
• Fire Suppression – utilization of Novec 1230 fire suppression which is not only environmentally friendly, but also is electronic safe.
• Power – a 400KW generator supplies power on an automated fail over basis. Contingencies are in place to provide 24/7 fuel availability.
• Scalability – the data center is pre-wired for installation of additional infrastructure. This allows us to add capacity while ensuring that existing customer equipment stays online.
