We received another RFP today, making that three in the past week, for businesses specifically seeking an Iowa data center for hosted solutions.
Apparently we aren’t the only ones that think Iowa is a great place for growing virtually as well as organically.
During our site selection process we looked for safe, affordable land with reliable bandwidth and utility power. As we were building a reinforced concrete bunker, tornadoes weren’t a concern as much as building away from the flood plains. Our perfect parcel of land is nestled outside of Monticello, which is just a short drive from key Eastern Iowa hubs: the Iowa City/Cedar Rapids “technology corridor”, Dubuque, and the Quad Cities. If you’d rather arrive by air, ITS is just a few minutes from the Monticello Regional Airport.
Monticello and its surrounding areas boast a job force that is technical, diligent and progressive.
